Alexander  Zverev's Olympic gold vs. Grand Slam questioned by Brett Connors.

Jimmy Connors and his son Brett recently disputed Alexander Zverev's previous assertion that an Olympic gold medal is more important than a Grand Slam victory.

Zverev won gold in the Tokyo Olympics after defeating Karen Khachanov in the final 6-3, 6-1.

With his victory, he became the first German athlete to win the men's singles gold medal in the Olympics.

Following his victory, the German downplayed any speculation about his bid for his first Grand Slam championship at the 2021 US Open,

emphasizing that nothing topped the significance of winning Olympic gold for him.

During the newest episode of the Advantage Connors podcast,

Jimmy Connors and his son Brett weighed in on the debate ignited by Patrick Mouratoglou's

remark that tennis players value Grand Slam victories significantly more than Olympic medals.
