Blockbuster Trade: Heat Get James Harden From 76ers

One NBA columnist suggests the Miami Heat trade for James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers in a megadeal.

Fadeaway World's Lee Tran suggested a trade involving the Heat, Sixers, Lakers, Bulls, and Bucks

Harden, one of the greatest players ever, averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists last season while shooting 44.1% from the field, 38.5% from beyond the arc, and 86.7% from the free-throw line.

For the second time, the 2017-18 MVP led the NBA in assists per game.

Harden is known for partying, therefore many NBA fans don't think the Heat would be a good fit for him. Miami's culture emphasizes hard work, great defense, and peak conditioning.

It will be interesting to see where Harden plays next season. The Heat might win a title in 2023-24 with Harden, but he must be focused and in form, which he hasn't always been.

Harden has averaged 24.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 7.0 assists for the Thunder, Rockets, Nets, and Sixers. Still seeking his first championship.

The Blazers and Heat haven't made progress on a deal for Damian Lillard. Harden just wants a trade from the Sixers to the Clippers. Since neither Lillard nor Harden has a no-trade clause, they can't control where they're traded.
