Chase Claypool to the Miami Dolphins is a bad deal for the New York Giants and their NFL rivals.

Entering Week 5, the New York Giants had even more reason to be concerned after Chase Claypool was traded to the Miami Dolphins.

In the second week of the 2023 NFL regular season, the Dolphins will host the Giants at Hard Rock Stadium.

After four games, Mike McDaniel's Dolphins are 3-1, while the Giants are 1-3 and have lost their previous two games to the Seattle Seahawks.

To further increase their prospects of contending for the Super Bowl, the Dolphins have now added another player to their explosive offense.

The Chicago Bears have traded Claypool to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round selection pick. The Bears also traded Miami a 2025 seventh-round pick as part of the deal.

The wide receiver will give the Dolphins' dynamic quarterback Tua Tagovailoa further talent. The AFC East team's major weapons are Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Braxton Berrios; Claypool joins Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Robbie Chosen as a backup.
