Cheers to Illinois: Beer tourism is booming as visitors sip their way through the state.
Dane Placko explores a new travel trend that has travelers "pouring" into the Land of Lincoln in tonight's special program.
"People like beer, and they'll drive long distances to get it," said Werk Force Brewing owner Brandon Wright.
"We're lucky enough to be one of those places."
Wright is well aware of this. He is the proprietor of Werk Force Brewing, a Plainfield craft beer brewery.
Customers travel from far and wide not only for their yearly Oktoberfest, but also for a special release of one of his artisan beers.
"They drove all the way up from Paducah, Kentucky," Wright added. "There was a cap. Each person gets one bottle.
Ed Dimler is another beer traveller who enjoys hitting the road in search of a nice brew.
