(Confirmed): Marvel has canceled plans for Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy return.

Gwen Stacy, Emma Stone, and other legacy franchise stars were among those whose plans for Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: No Way Home were scrapped.

While getting another Spider-Man excursion with Tom Holland was exciting, the anticipation for his third feature was on another level.

Fans knew going into the film that it will bring back five prior villains and that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would even appear in their super costumes.

While all of that turned out to be accurate, there wasn't much discussion regarding the supporting characters in Maguire's and Garfield's universes

Was there ever a chance Gwen or maybe Kirsten Dunst's Mary Jane might appear?

Most people who saw No Way Home couldn't understand how anyone else from Peter 2 or Peter 3's timelines might have fit into the plot.

MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, written by Joanna Robinson, Dave Gonzales, and Gavin Edwards, recently reached shelves

and fresh evidence proved that several major individuals from prior Spider-Man films

including Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, were part of earlier versions for No Way Home.

Emma Stone could perhaps return in the future. Given the success of the animated Spider-Verse movie, fans want to see a live-action Spider-Gwen.

Luke Grimes claims that Lainey Wilson assisted him in overcoming his fear of recording an album.
