Cowboys Trade Rumors: Will Dallas Be A 'Buyer' at the NFL Trade Deadline?

FRISCO – When it comes to huge midseason deals, the Dallas Cowboys have always been relatively quiet.

Will that change this year, as the NFL's annual trade deadline approaches on October 31?

During the team's Week 7 bye, the Cowboys front office will be busy examining ways to improve the squad for the second half of the season.

Where will they begin? There is always space for improvement on any squad, but our Mike Fisher of CowboysSI.com

has previously covered how some of the more obvious position groups may include wide receiver, linebacker, and cornerback.

With CB Trevon Diggs' season-ending injury, Dallas' secondary is now depleted.

Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch has been placed on injured reserve due to a neck injury, which will keep him out for at least the next four weeks.

Team owner Jerry Jones has stated repeatedly that the organization is "happy" with the existing team, but history shows that there is always room to add the proper component.
