Kelly Clarkson Wins on Christina Aguilera's 'Fighter'
Clarkson gave a strong rendition of Aguilera's 2002 hit song from her album Stripped.
The fifth season of THE KELLY CLARKSON SHOW has begun with a cover of Christina Aguilera's "Fighter."
Clarkson, dressed in an all-black gown and shoes, took the stage and delivered a stunning rendition of the 2002 hit song from Aguilera's fourth studio album, Stripped.
The record saw the "Beautiful" singer shed her teen pop princess image to reveal a bolder
more real self — which Clarkson echoes in the chorus of "Kellyoke": "Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder/Makes me that much wiser/So thanks for making me a fighter."During an interview with the United States
"Clarkson announced her decision to leave The Voice after nine seasons in an interview with USA Today earlier this month. "
Full disclosure, I put on a smile a lot of those times because I was struggling a lot in my personal life," she stated.
"I've learned a lot about what I'm capable of and what you shouldn't handle."
"That was me saying 'bye' to The Voice and making this big move."
