Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon debuts at $9.4 million, trailing Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour's second Friday.

Taylor Swift's concert film The Eras Tour has dropped 72% at the North American box office since its debut last week.

Killers of the Flower Moon, Martin Scorsese's period drama starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has opened in theaters. 

 According to Variety, it made an assured $9.4 million debut at the North American box office on Friday. 

 It is, however, still trailing Taylor Swift's concert film The Eras Tour, which grossed $10.4 million on its second Friday. 

According to the report, the film earned $9.4 million, with $2.6 million coming from Thursday previews. 

 It is now expected to gross $23 million in its first weekend, which is $5 million more than Martin and Leonardo's previous collaboration

 the 2013 black comic criminal thriller The Wolf of Wall Street, which grossed $18 million in its debut weekend.

However, the picture was eventually picked up and grossed $116 million at the North American box office.

Among those who appear in Killers of the Flower Moon are Robert De Niro, Lilly Gladstone, and Jesse Plemons. 

It is produced by Paramount Pictures and will be available on Apple TV soon.
