Meet Portsmouth family behind Taylor Swift-themed Halloween display mocking Republican

SOUTHPORT — Has Taylor Swift recently been spotted on Middle Street? You were not living one of your most fantastical fantasies.

The Coyle family's yearly Halloween display, which customarily includes commentary on American politics,

will feature the music megastar as the focal point this October. In a surprising development this year, parents Kate and Kevin Coyle and their 9-year-old daughter Chrissy,

who is Swift-obsessed, seem to support the singer for the presidency of the United States in 2024. In their front yard,

there is a flag and a cardboard cutout of the 12-time Grammy Award winner in life size.

Additionally, the Coyles have erected tombstones and skeletons in their yard with messages making fun of Republican presidential hopefuls like Florida

Governor Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, former President Donald Trump, and former first lady Hillary Clinton.
