Netflix’s Last Airbender series brings the Fire Nation’s most toxic family to live-action

The Fire Nation royal family is the only hot benders in Netflix's 2024 live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series, which has a new look.

The images give fans their first look at Fire Lord Ozai's father, Daniel Dae Kim from Lost,

Uncle Iroh from The Mandalorian's Ahsoka, Princess Azula's daughter,

, Elizabeth Yu from Somewhere in Queens, and Prince Zuko, the royal family's disowned son,

played by Dallas Liu from PEN15. Additionally, Ken Leung (Old) plays Commander Zhao, who is not actually royal but is a royal pain in the arse.

Fans will be able to see a lot more of the four when the eight-episode series debuts on Netflix in 2024.

All four appear to be fairly well-dressed in the traditional Fire Nation reds and blacks.

In order to avoid confusion, this live-action adaptation of the same-titled Nickelodeon animated series is not to be confused with Nick's own animation projects.
