NFL Rumors: Raiders reach massive decision on Davante Adams trade
Davante Adams has already experienced a blockbuster trade in his NFL career. Back in 2022, Adams made it abundantly clear that he had no intention of playing under the franchise tag.
This decision didn't sit well with his longtime teammate, Aaron Rodgers, and subsequently,
the Green Bay Packers decided to trade him to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first and second-round pick.
Adams then secured his position as the highest-paid wide receiver in the league, while the Packers struggled to fill the void left by Rodgers' preferred target.
Despite the Raiders finishing the 2022 season with a 6-11 record, Adams had an outstanding first season in Las Vegas.
He managed to haul in 100 passes, leading the league with 14 touchdowns and accumulating over 1,500 receiving yards for the second consecutive season.
Even without Rodgers, Adams remained remarkably productive, with Derek Carr as his quarterback.
This season brought a new change for the Raiders as they opted for a new signal-caller in Jimmy Garoppolo.
