NFL Trade Deadline: Brian Burns to the Seahawks, Derrick Henry to the Ravens, and Other Possible Transactions Before October 31
The NFL trade deadline on October 31 is just days away, and we've already seen a lot of player movement.
Over the last month, Chase Claypool, Randy Gregory, Van Jefferson, Mecole Hardman, and Kevin Byard have all been traded.
There could be more activity before the November 1 deadline, so let's have some fun and forecast 10 trades that could take place in the next days.
The Seahawks are contenders again this season, thanks in large part to their defense
which has improved from 26th in EPA per play last year to ninth in 2023.
However, pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu sustained a season-ending pectoral injury in Week 7 for Pete Carroll's team.
Nwosu was signed as a free agent by the Seahawks last offseason, and he performed so effectively in 2022
ranking 13th in pressures league-wide — that the team granted him a three-year agreement this spring.
With Nwosu out, it's time for Seattle to go for broke.
Brian Burns is perhaps the most skilled player on this year's trade market, but the Carolina Panthers will not give him up for free.
