Prayers are pouring in for the Saints' Tight End. Moreau, Foster
This Thursday night, NFL fans are praying for New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau.
Moreau, 26, was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year after receiving a physical during his free-agent visit with the Saints during the offseason.
Doctors eventually discovered he had an uncommon but treatable type of the disease.
Three months later, he revealed that he was in complete remission.
Fortunately, Moreau has been able to play for the Saints this season. But, after everything he's been through, it was difficult to watch what happened on Thursday night.
Moreau fumbled what would have been the Saints' tying score against the Jaguars late in the fourth quarter.
Derek Carr's pass hit him square in the hands, but he was unable to haul it in. The Saints immediately turned the ball over on downs.
This resulted in an emotional scenario, as Prime's cameras captured Moreau obviously distressed on the bench following the play.
