Rebel Moon's running time surpasses Zack Snyder's 12-year film record.

Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire, Zack Snyder's forthcoming space opera, will be two hours and thirteen minutes long, making it his shortest film since Sucker Punch in 2011.

Both Rebel Moon and its sequel, The Scargiver, are getting extended cuts that will add 45 minutes to an hour to each film.

The director's cuts will be R-rated, allowing for greater violence, language, and explicit content, and Snyder has already stated that they will go further into character.

The running time of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon has been disclosed, and it is his shortest film since 2011. Snyder's next space opera,

now officially named Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire, began as a rejected Star Wars pitch and is due to reach Netflix later this year.

Sofia Boutella appears as Kora, a mysterious warrior who rallies the citizens of a distant farming colony to fight back

against a cruel galactic tyrant in the first installment of a two-part story.

Now, ahead of Rebel Moon's release date, Netflix confirmed the film's running time of two hours and thirteen minutes.

This is Snyder's shortest film since Sucker Punch, which was barely one hour and 50 minutes long in 2011.
