terry Stotts' abrupt resignation from the Milwaukee Bucks appears to have followed some noteworthy internal conflict.
The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Thursday on the reasons surrounding Stotts' departure. Stotts announced earlier
in the day that he had unexpectedly decided to resign as a Bucks assistant coach just months after joining the team.
According to Charania, Stotts had an altercation with Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin following a team shootaround in Oklahoma City on Tuesday
before their preseason game against the Thunder. Griffin reportedly attempted to create a coaches' huddle,
but Stotts instead headed toward the players in an attempt to discuss the offense with Milwaukee studs Damien Lillard
and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Griffin invited Stotts to attend the coaches' huddle, but when Stotts requested time with the players,
Griffin yelled at him to join the coaches' huddle. According to reports, the incident occurred in plain front of the entire crew.
