The Season 4 Crossover of 'Gen V' and 'The Boys' Has Been Revealed
Spin-offs aren't normally as popular as the main program, but Gen V, The Boys' latest spin-off, is something special.
It's not only bloodier and gorier, but it also provides a new take on the Supes, expanding the cosmos in more ways than one.
With Gen V poised to return in season 2 on Prime Video, executive producer Eric Kripke has revealed how the series' season 1 ending will relate with the events of 'The Boys' season 4.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kripke and Michele Fazekas, showrunners for 'The Boys' and 'Gen V,'
respectively, discussed the intriguing synergy between the spin-off and the main TV series, and what it implies for the larger universe.
Even before season 2 was announced, Kripke stated, "I don't think it's a spoiler to say that, by the end of season 1 of Gen V
there's a handoff to season 4 of The Boys.
" Then, when we finish season 4 of The Boys, we'll switch to Gen V's hopeful season 2."
"Also, it can't get too complicated," Fazekas continued.
You should be able to watch Gen V without having to see The Boys.
