Timothée Chalamet Is Training With Austin Butler’s Elvis Team to Play Bob Dylan

Timothée Chalamet will star in two blockbuster movies over the course of the next six months:

Wonka, in which he plays the titular chocolatier this December, and Dune:

Part 2, which will now be released in March 2024 due to the ongoing actors' strike.

Prior to the strikes, Chalamet gave a GQ interview in which he could not help but mention his upcoming major role as Bob Dylan.

Chalamet tells GQ that he has been "Dylan-ing hard" lately in order to be ready for James Mangold's upcoming biopic of the musician,

A Complete Unknown. Re-reading Dylan's autobiography Chronicles from 2004 is said to be part of his preparation process, as is working out with a team assembled by Dune:

Part Two co-star Austin Butler and Elvis Presley. When the two first connected on Zoom for a cast reading,

Chalamet told GQ that Butler was no longer performing the Elvis impression that got him nominated for an Oscar.
