When they open as underdogs against the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Rams
In their next game against the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Rams have opened as the underdog.
This comes after a disappointing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, where they let the game slip away in the fourth quarter.
After having a bye week, SI Sportsbook has the Rams as 6.5-point underdogs against the 4-2 Cowboys.
But just one week prior to the off-season, the Cowboys defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 20–17 after losing badly to the San Francisco 49ers 42–10.
Dak Prescott, the seasoned quarterback, was essential to the Cowboys' thrilling victory over the Chargers on the road.
After losing three interceptions, the seventh-year signal-caller made up ground on 21 of his 30 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown.
Prescott's mobility, though, might have had the biggest impact on his performance. Prescott led the Cowboys in rushing with 40 yards on seven attempts,
including the 18-yard rushing touchdown on a read-option keeper. He also displayed his legs by spotting sacks and navigating the pocket.
