Yellowstone International Film Festival set to begin on October 22

The fourth edition of the Yellowstone International Film Festival (YIFF) will take place here from October 22 to October 27, the organizers announced Wednesday.

The gala will be held in a hybrid format, with the goal of showcasing independent cinema from across the world.

According to a press announcement, YIFF will feature 146 films from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Chile, Spain, Pakistan, Belgium, Turkey, Israel, Finland, New Zealand, and Sweden.

The festival will get off with a screening of the multi-award-winning film "Amar Colony" at the DLF Cyberpark auditorium in Gurgaon.

"The Broken Table" by Chintan Sarda will have its North Indian premiere. 

The film, which stars Naseeruddin Shah and Rasika Dugal, is about a caregiver named Deepti and her new client Giri, who has Alzheimer's.

The festival will also host Asian premiere of mockumentary comedy "The Nana Project", starring Mercedes Ruehl and directed by Robin Givens; a screening of "Rare", a thrilling short film featuring Piyush Mishra, and Venu Yeldandi's "Balagam", starring Priydarshi Pulikonda and Kavya Kalyanram.
